Mohana Suggula (Principal)

Mohana is a certified IRS Enrolled Agent and Charted Accountant from India whose extensive career spans over 18 years in the technology industry with leading multinationals including E&Y, Accenture, Oracle, Intuit, Coherent, NetSuite and Uber in various roles in Product Management particularly pertaining to accounting products. Mohana played a key role in envisioning, designing, and building various accounting products for top software providers. This has provided him with keen insight into the needs of various business users from various industry verticals.

With several years of experience in various accounting roles including: Accounting Manager, Assistant Controller, Accounting Director, Mohana has a deep understanding of the tax and accounting systems that run today’s largest and most innovative companies. He has experience in everything from streamlining accounting departments to providing strategic advice to management about navigating the unpredictable tax environment.

With so much experience in the technology industry, Mohana has deep awareness of the needs and desires of not only corporations, but the employees as well. His understanding of the cultural motivations behind employee mindsets in the technology industry serve him particularly well in the Bay Area.

Verticals

Mohana has vast experience in project finance, bank auditing, accounting standards, and other auditing related subjects. His extensive expertise covers tax and internal audits of both private and public companies in both India and the United States.

Academic

Mohana had graduated from Osmania University in Hyderabad, India and completed his Chartered Accountancy in 1990.

Certified

He is currently a member of the US Chamber of Commerce, Cupertino Chamber of Commerce, ASSOCHAM, Hyderabad Stock Exchange and the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.

Mohana carries experience in both business and individual tax planning, and can provide guidance on how to best reduce one’s tax burden. New business services are also core to Mohana’s experience, including the formation of new entities, preparation of feasibility reports and CMA (Credit Monetary Appraisal) data for obtaining working capital limits from banks.

His understanding of the needs and issues that face businesses in IT, staffing, and other areas suit him to providing well-versed strategic guidance on navigating tax issues for these industries. His experience includes working with business owners and managers by providing comprehensive analyses and practical solutions for all their tax and accounting needs.


S.D. Jawahar (India Operations)

Mr. Jawahar is a veteran accounting professional with decades of experience in providing management and financial consulting services. He has handled numerous assignments related to accounting, finance, auditing, taxation, corporate & allied laws and payroll.

A semi-qualified Chartered Accountant from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, he has rich experience of over 22 years in the areas of accounting, taxation, auditing and MIS with various companies in the manufacturing and service sectors. He has also handled scrutiny assessments u/s 143(3) of the Indian Income tax act, 1961 in addition to regular VAT and service tax assessments.

He has experience in project finance, bank audits, accounting standards, and other audit related subjects. He has immense knowledge and experience in the field of tax audits and internal audits of private and public sector companies in India.

As an accounting professional, he brings particular strength to the business consulting and advisory by working closely with business owners and managers to analyze their operations and formulating practical solutions to their ever increasing needs. His extensive experience in the areas of individual and business tax planning helps individuals and businesses (LLC,LLP,PLC, and Proprietorship Concerns) to minimize their overall tax impact. Mr. Jawahar also provides advisory services to the clients in the following areas: formation of new entities, preparation of project feasibility reports, and preparation of CMA Data (Credit Monetary Appraisal) for obtaining working capital limits from banks and financial institutions.
